China sweeps five golds at china masters
After Conquering all the titles in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS the Chinese LINING Stars swept all the
five titles at the China Masters Super Series badminton tournament here on
Sunday.
This was the second time that China won all titles in weeks after China
swept the titles at the World Championships in Paris.
Former world number one Lin Dan beat countryman Chen Long in three sets for the
men's singles title 21-15, 13-21, 21-14, and world number two Wang Xin,
runner-up at the world championships, clinched the women's crown, beating
Denmark's Tine Baun 21-13, 21-19.
Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng defeated Ko Sung-Hyun and Yoo Yeon-Seong of South Korea
in the men's doubles final, while Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang beat fellow Chinese
Bao Yixin and Lu Lu to take the women's doubles honors.
In the mixed doubles, Tai Jiaming and Tian Qing ousted Xu Chen and Yu Yang, also
of China for the title.
